Hereditary cancer predisposition due to variation(s) in the BRCA2 gene. Germline pathogenic or likely pathogenic variants in the BRCA2 gene confer an autosomal dominant predisposition to hereditary breast and ovarian cancer. Tumor formation at other sites, including pancreatic and prostate cancer, have been described.
