Adult type testicular granulosa cell tumor

Definition

A rare sex cord-stromal tumor that arises from the testis in adults. Gynecomastia is present in approximately a quarter of the patients. Several morphologic patterns have been identified and include insular, gyriform, trabecular, pseudosarcomatous, and solid. Metastases occur in approximately twenty percent of the cases.
