Olfactory cortex

Definition

Aggregate brain region defined as those areas of cerebral cortex receiving direct synaptic input from the olfactory bulb (Price, 1973). It usually includes the piriform cortex and sometimes other areas.

The Olfactory cortex is a part of the Nervous.
