Definition

The surgical removal of the entire bladder, a portion of the urethra, adjacent lymph nodes, and additional genitourinary structures, including the prostate and a portion of the vas deferens in men, and the ovaries, fallopian tubes, uterus, and a portion of the vagina in women.
